Introduction
Hi, I’m Naïma. I’m 19 years old and currently in my third year of Interior Styling and Design at Nimeto. In this program I develop both creative and practical skills in interior design and styling. I learn how to design spaces, combine materials and colours, and present my ideas through sketches, mood boards, and digital programs such as Adobe and Vectorworks. I also work on real client projects, which allows me to experience the full design process and create strong, well-developed concepts. I am also learning to work with my hands and I want to do more with this and learn more about it
Learning goals
During my internship, I want to challenge myself and continue growing both personally and creatively. I’m eager to learn new things, gain practical experience, and develop my skills in a professional environment. I hope to improve my design process, learn from experienced professionals, and discover new ways of working and thinking creatively. This internship is also an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone, take initiative, and grow more confident in my abilities.
In terms of skills, I hope to learn new techniques and deepen my understanding of how things are done in the real working world. I want to experience what it is like to work in a professional environment, collaborate with others, and apply my knowledge in practice. I also really enjoy working with my hands and would love to learn more about the practical side of design and creating things myself.
Little more about me
In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends going shopping together, chatting for hours, or enjoying a drink on a cozy terrace. I’m also really into drawing and anything creative: it’s my favorite way to express myself. I also really love traveling so whenever I get the chance to travel I do it immediately. I like staying active too, so you can often find me working out or playing handball
Learning goals
Developing my practical and hands-on abilities
I really enjoy working with my hands and exploring practical creative processes. During my internship, I hope to gain more experience with making, creating, and experimenting with different materials and techniques. I also enjoy building small models and working with clay, which I sometimes do in my free time. These activities help me understand how ideas can be translated into physical forms and allow me to further develop my practical and creative skills.
Learning new skills and gaining practical experience
I want to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. I want to observe how people work together in a team, how tasks are organized, and how projects are managed. By being involved in different activities, I hope to develop new abilities and gain a better understanding of how the working world functions.
Stepping outside my comfort zone and understanding how creative businesses work
I want to challenge myself by stepping outside of my comfort zone and trying new things. I’m interested in learning how creative companies operate on a daily basis and how they turn ideas into real products or projects. I would like to understand the process behind developing concepts, making decisions, and bringing creative ideas to life within a business.
